The owner has just made a dramatic change in this
property.  He has had a bulldozer operator cut
more than a mile of trails.  The trails lead all the
way to the edge of the river in two places.  There
is even a “canoe slip” -- a place to launch a canoe
or a kayak -- at one point.

actually parts of a 172-acre tract of land that
has more than half a mile of frontage on the
Banister River.  Both parcels have river frontage

after a logging operation).  The loggers had to
leave trees near the creek and near the river so
there are a few acres of good hardwoods.

There are deer tracks all over these properties. 
One day I even saw paw prints of a bear.
